"Great place to stay, staff helpful couldn't do enough for me. Wasn't planning on staying in surfer's but glad I did this place has been the best place I have stayed in OZ. Came for 2 nights ended up being 2weeks. Really can't stress how good it was thanks Backpackers in Paradise hope to be back maybe next year."

"My best friend and I stayed here for a week while travelling around Australia. Overall was a nice place to stay. They have a nice pool area with deck chairs and hammocks everywhere (which I loved). Cool general hangout area with a nice TV. Cool little cinema area and bar with cheap drinks! Everynight they have a deal going with a different club, things like pay $10 and get 2 drinks at the backpackers bar, then free entry and a free drink at the club - a great bargain! Met lots of cool people who were staying here but also working for their accommodation, reception staff and managers very friendly! Only 10 minutes troll to beach/clubs/shopping etc."

"My mates and I stayed in the hostel when we were in the gold coast and it would have to be one of the best accommodation we have been at. Very friendly staff and the rooms were neat and tidy. The bar was very cheap (which is great) and the organized backpackers big night out was one of the best nights i have had in a while! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting very affordable accommodation with great staff to go with it! A big hello and thank-you to Rachel for all her help during our stay! : ) My mates and I will be back one day!!"
